Background: Previous studies have shown that hypertonic saline nasal irrigation and gargling reduced the duration of symptoms in upper respiratory infections caused by coronavirus. This study aims to investigate the effects of two saline regimens on symptoms associated with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2).
Methods: Between 2020 and 2022, individuals aged 18-65 years who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 infection via polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were randomly assigned to either low- or high-saline regimens for 14 days.

Objective: In men with a raised prostate-specific antigen (PSA), MRI increases the detection of clinically significant cancer and reduces overdiagnosis, with fewer biopsies. MRI as a screening tool has not been assessed independently of PSA in a formal screening study. We report a systematic community-based assessment of the prevalence of prostate MRI lesions in an age-selected population.

The primary objective of this study was to determine whether VR changed the revised Edmonton Symptom and Assessment System (ESAS-r) score representing an effective improvement in symptom control and well-being.
Methods And Analysis: This study reports on 60 participants recruited from hospital inpatient oncology and palliative care lists, to participate in an unblinded, VR intervention.

Background: Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a common urological cancer globally and shows a favorable prognosis in early stages of the tumor progression. Due to the poor prognosis for metastatic RCC patients, it is crucial to explore the molecular biology of RCC progression to establish efficient diagnostic and therapeutic markers for these patients. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have critical roles in regulation of tumor cell proliferation, migration, and apoptosis during RCC progression.
