Drug Indexes are of significance for investigation on ancient patent medicine industry. Herein, we compared (10th year of Jiaqing Reign, 1805), (4th year of Xianfeng Reign, 1854 and 5th year of Tongzhi Reign, 1866) and (3th year of Guangxu Reign, 1877) to illustrate the business features of Hangzhou patent medicine industry in Qing Dynasty. The three pharmacies, Zhang Tongtai Tang, Ye Zhongde Tang and Hu Qingyu Tang, were all adept in utilizing ancient prescriptions that contained various preparations, emphasized commercial ethics and product qualities, distributed their products in flexible pattern and focused on distillation formula. Moreover, each of the three pharmacies exhibited their own characteristics in product types and commercialization.

Background: GPR171 suppresses T cell immune responses involved in antitumour immunity, while its role in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) pathogenesis remains unclear.
Objective: We aimed to investigate the role of GPR171 in modulating CD4 T cell effector functions in IBD and evaluate its therapeutic potential.
Design: We analysed GPR171 expression in colon biopsies and peripheral blood samples from patients with IBD and assessed the impact of GPR171 on CD4 T cell differentiation through administration of its endogenous ligand (BigLEN).

Dengue-virus-induced humoral immunity can increase the risk of severe disease, but the factors influencing this response are poorly understood. Here, we investigate the contribution of CD4 T cells to B cell responses in human dengue infection. We identify a dominant peripheral PD-1 T cell subset that accumulates in severe patients and could induce B cell differentiation via interleukin-21 (IL-21)-related pathway.

The most common genetic cause of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD) is the repeat expansion in C9ORF72. Dipeptide repeat (DPR) proteins translated from both sense and antisense repeats, especially arginine-rich DPRs (R-DPRs), contribute to neurodegeneration. Through CRISPR interference (CRISPRi) screening in human-derived neurons, we identified receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase S (PTPσ) as a strong modifier of poly-GR-mediated toxicity.

Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL) is an aggressive T-cell lymphoma affecting children and young adults. About 30% of patients develop therapy resistance therefore new precision medicine drugs are highly warranted. Multiple rounds of structure-activity optimization of Caffeic Acid Phenethyl Ester have resulted in CM14.
