AI Article Synopsis

  • - Multicellular life on Earth is expected to thrive for another billion years, while humans are predicted to face extinction within a few million years
  • - This creates a paradox of a habitable planet without human presence, prompting a discussion about the future of Earth post-humanity
  • - The text encourages prioritizing actions that could enhance the longevity and diversity of life on the planet after humans are no longer around

Article Abstract

We explore the paradox of a habitable planet devoid of people, and consider how to prioritise our actions to maximise life after we are gone.
