This work describes the tailored design, green synthesis and characterization of noble metal (Pt, Ag and Au) nanoparticles (NPs) using Sapinduss Mukkorossi fruit extract (SMFE) and its signal NP collision signal response, based on the principle of the electrocatatlytic amplication (EA) method. Here, the SMFE can act as both the reducing and the capping agent for the fabrication of noble nanometals. The SMFE-capped NPs was available for the observation of a single NP collision signal. Two general types of current response were observed: a staircase current response for the Pt or Au NPs, and a blip/spike current response for Ag NPs. These results demonstrated that the eco-friendly synthesized SMFE-capped NPs maintained their electrocatalytic activity, therefore they can be used for the single NP experiments and place an arena for future biosensing applications.

Purpose: Trastuzumab-pertuzumab (HP) plus taxane is a current standard first-line therapy for recurrent or metastatic human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2)+ breast cancer (BC). We investigated noninferiority of eribulin to a taxane when combined with dual HER2 blockade as first-line systemic treatment for locally advanced/metastatic HER2+ BC.

Purpose: This literature review synthetizes current evidence on the timing and efficacy of dexamethasone intravitreal injections for diabetic macular edema (DME) in patients undergoing cataract surgery, particularly phacoemulsification, to determine the optimal timing for improved outcome.

Methods: A systematic review of the literature was conducted across key databases to identify peer-reviewed studies, clinical trials, and meta-analyses addressing dexamethasone injections administered pre-, intra-, and post-operatively for DME in the context of cataract surgery. Studies were selected based on relevance to timing, visual outcomes, and inflammation control, with a focus on comparative efficacy.

Objectives: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is characterized by colonic inflammation, with neutrophils playing a key role in UC activity, prognosis, and response to therapies. Current UC therapeutics can have significant side effects and limited efficacy. ADS051 is a novel, oral, gut-restricted small molecule that modulates neutrophil migration and activation without in vitro suppression of T-cell activation.

Introduction: Defecatory disorders are common affecting up to 8% of the population. Rome IV diagnostic criteria are used to define this condition and therefore select patients for the gold standard therapy, anorectal biofeedback. The aim of this study was to test the current Rome IV FDD criteria in a real-world population by utilizing the response to biofeedback as a validation tool.
