Purpose Of Review: When patients have large iris defects, they may experience debilitating glare, halos, and unfavorable cosmetic appearance. Surgical iris reconstruction can alleviate these symptoms. This article will review current suturing techniques for iris reconstruction, as well as the benefits and drawbacks to various suturing methods. Alternative reconstructive methods are also discussed.
Recent Findings: One of the earliest iris suturing methods described was the McCannel technique. This technique allows direct suturing of the iris using three incisions. The Siepser slipknot is another method used in closed chamber iris suturing techniques. This knot, and its recent modifications, utilizes a sliding knot, which is created outside the eye and slid into place atop the iris defect. The cerclage iris suture, in which small bites are taken around the pupillary circumference, is especially useful when treating a mydriatic pupil. Recently, a number of surgeons have adapted these techniques and developed novel suturing strategies to address complex ocular conditions.
Summary: The various iris suturing methods, as well as alternative techniques including cautery, corneal tattooing, and iris prosthetics, each have unique benefits, providing surgeons with a wide array of tools for iris reconstruction.

Aim: To observe the clinical outcomes of 30-gauge (G) needle-guided 10-0 prolene suture purse-string pupilloplasty for atonic pupil management.
Methods: Eight patients with atonic pupils who underwent suture purse-string pupilloplasty were retrospectively analyzed. Preoperative data and at least 6mo of postoperative data were collected from all the patients.

Introduction: Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) treats osteoarthritis in one knee compartment, while total knee arthroplasty (TKA) addresses all compartments. The debate focuses on UKA's advantages of quicker recovery and fewer complications versus TKA's lower long-term revision rates, emphasizing the need for thorough outcome evaluations. The aim of the present study is to describe and compare the pain, functional and psychological trajectories during a 6-month postoperative rehabilitation period between total and unicompartmental knee arthroplasties.

Introduction: Idiopathic congenital acorea is extremely rare. There are several techniques for preserving the clear lens during pupil formation.
Case Presentation: The complete pupil absence caused acute glaucoma attack 2 weeks after birth, which was controlled in a 1-month-old child by peripheral iridectomy and disconnecting iris-corneal synechias.

Unlabelled: Paradoxical deterioration in patients with tuberculous meningitis is a significant diagnostic and treatment challenge. We present the case of a 55-year-old previously healthy male, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-negative, presenting with headache, fever, agitation and slurred speech, who was ultimately diagnosed with tuberculous meningoencephalitis confirmed by cerebrospinal fluid polymerase chain reaction positive for complex. After initiation of a standard antitubercular therapy combined with glucocorticoids, the patient experienced an initial neurological improvement.

Objectives: To evaluate the impact of transfemale gender-affirming rhinoplasty on nasal appearance as evaluated by common facial analysis measures.
Methods: Retrospective case series of patients undergoing gender-affirming nasal surgery at a single tertiary care center from March 2016 to July 2022. Pre- and postoperative photographs were analyzed, using iris width to normalize the measurements.
