The strong solid-liquid interaction leads to the complicated occurrence characteristics of shale oil. However, the solid-liquid interface interaction and its controls of the occurrence state of shale oil are poorly understood on the molecular scale. In this work, the adsorption behavior and occurrence state of shale oil in pores of organic/inorganic matter under reservoir conditions were investigated by using grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations.

Biochips are widely applied to manipulate the geometrical morphology of stem cells in recent years. Patterned antenna-like pseudopodia are also probed to explore the influence of pseudopodia formation on gene delivery and expression on biochips. However, how the antenna-like pseudopodia affect gene transfection is unsettled and the underlying trafficking mechanism of exogenous genes in engineered single cells is not announced.

Clotrimazole 1% and Mycozin vaginal cream have been reported to be effective in relieving the symptoms of vulvovaginitis caused by Candida. The resistance to azole compounds, and the side effects of chemical drugs have been reported following azole therapy. It was hypothesized that Mycozin is at least as effective as Clotrimazole in treating vaginal candidiasis.

Background: Limited reports are available regarding bonding of universal adhesives to primary teeth' enamel.
Aim: To evaluate the effect of application mode and aging on microtensile bond strength (μTBS) of universal adhesives to primary enamel.
Design: Ninety-six human primary molars were randomly assigned to three groups: SU: Scotchbond Universal (3M); CU: Clearfil Universal Bond Quick (Kuraray Noritake); iBU: iBond Universal (Heraeus Kulzer), then subdivided according to phosphoric acid etching time into three subgroups (SG): SG1: 0s; SG2: 15s; SG3: 30s.
