Black soybean seed coat polyphenols were reported to possess various bioregulatory functions. However, the effects of black soybean seed coat polyphenols on vascular functions are unknown. Vascular dysfunction caused by aging and vascular stiffness is associated with a risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD), and a reduction in nitric oxide (NO) levels can trigger the onset of CVD. In the present study, we investigated the effect of polyphenol-rich black soybean seed coat extract (BE) on vascular functions and the underlying mechanisms involved. The oral administration of BE at 50 mg per kg body weight to Wistar rats increased NO levels as determined by eNOS phosphorylation. The administration of BE also increased GLP-1 and cAMP levels. Furthermore, the effects of BE were inhibited in the presence of a GLP-1 receptor antagonist. This suggests that GLP-1 is strongly involved in the underlying mechanism of NO production in vivo. In conclusion, BE contributes to the improvement of vascular functions by promoting NO production. Regarding the putative underlying mechanism, GLP-1 secreted from intestinal cells by the polyphenols in BE activates eNOS in vascular endothelial cells.

To reveal the changes in crop yield and contribution rate of black soil productivity under long-term different fertilization conditions in black soil areas and to find the important significance of fertilization for sustainable and stable crop yield, high yield, and improving the contribution rate of black soil nutrients. Based on the long-term experiment of black soil fertility in Harbin, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, under the maize-wheat-soybean rotation system, crop yield, sustainability and stability of yield, the contribution rate of black soil productivity, and natural nutrient supply capacity under 10 fertilization treatments (CK, NP, NK, PK, NPK, M, MNP, MNK, MPK, and MNPK) were analyzed. Results showed that, compared with the treatment of chemical fertilizer, yields of maize, wheat, and soybeans increased under treatment of organic fertilizer combined with chemical fertilizer, among which the yields of maize and wheat changed the most.

We investigated the effect of feed deprivation for 45 days on the growth, immunity, and health of 0marron () initially fed for 110 days on various protein sources including fishmeal (FM), poultry by-product meal (PBM), black soldier fly meal (BSFM), soybean meal (SBM), lupin meal (LM), and tuna hydrolysate. The marron were weighed and sacrificed immediately after feeding stopped (day 0) and at days 15, 30, and 45 after the feed deprivation trial commenced.
