Objectives: To evaluate the association of pre- and post-diagnosis fluid intake with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) recurrence and progression risk.
Patients And Methods: Data were used from the multicentre prospective cohort study UroLife. Participants reported pre-diagnosis fluid intake at 6 weeks (food frequency questionnaire [FFQ]) (n = 1322) and post-diagnosis fluid intake at 3 and 15 months (FFQ and 4-day 24-h fluid diaries) (n = 1275) after diagnosis.

To comprehensively evaluate the structure and function of the bladder wall in children using multi-modal ultrasound (MMU). A total of 110 children without urinary symptoms admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to June 2023 were included prospectively. MMU was performed and the vesical volume (VV), bladder wall thickness (BWT), shear wave velocity (SWV) of the anterior wall, resistance index (RI) and vascularization index (VI) were measured in the filled and emptied bladder respectively, and the ultrasound bladder compliance (UBC) was also calculated.

Pentachlorophenol (PCP), a persistent organic pollutant, has endocrine disrupting properties and there may be a link between its exposure and reproductive outcomes. In this study, we assessed the relationship of PCP exposure levels with ovarian reserve markers and reproductive health outcomes in women (N = 656) undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF). Background: Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) can be used in a variety of clinical settings and is a safe and powerful tool for ultrasound-trained healthcare providers, such as physicians and nurses; however, the effectiveness of ultrasound education for nursing students remains unclear. This prospective cohort study aimed to examine the sustained educational impact of bladder ultrasound simulation among nursing students.
Methods: To determine whether bladder POCUS simulation exercises sustainably improve the clinical proficiency regarding ultrasound examinations among nursing students, evaluations were conducted before and after the exercise and were compared with those after the 1-month follow-up exercise.

This study aimed to investigate the role of myosteatosis, sarcopenia, and perioperative serum biomarkers as independent predictors of major complications within 180 days following radical cystectomy (RC) for muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC). We retrospectively analyzed of 127 MIBC patients who underwent RC between 2013 and 2023 at a single institution. Preoperative body composition was assessed using CT scans at the L3 vertebral level to measure psoas muscle density (PMD), skeletal muscle density (SMD), axial muscle density (AMD), and muscle indices.
