Analysis of Sulfate Compounds From Sanguisorbae Radix and Its Major Metabolites in Rats by UPLC-MS/MS and Molecular Docking.

Rapid Commun Mass Spectrom

February 2025

State Key Laboratory of Chinese Medicine Modernization, Tasly Pharmaceutical Group Co. Ltd., Tianjin, China.

Rationale: Sanguisorbae Radix that mainly contains tannins and phenolic compounds has been widely used as a traditional Chinese medicine for treating hemafecia, hemorrhoids metrorrhagia and metrostaxis in clinics. However, there is no report about the sulfate phenolic compounds in Sanguisorbae Radix.

Methods: Extraction of Sanguisorbae Radix was separated and purified by polyamide resin and octadecyl silane-bonded silica, which were analyzed by HPLC-IT-TOF/MS.

Article Synopsis
  • * It compares the performance of lightweight filling materials (like sawdust and geo-foam) and traditional fill materials enhanced by deep replacement methods (like concrete piles and stone columns) based on factors such as stress distribution and settlement.
  • * The findings show that lightweight materials significantly reduce both settlement (11-98%) and stress (5-89%), while deep replacement techniques also lower these parameters, with deep-mixing columns (DMC) proving to be more effective for soil reuse than concrete piles (CP).

Data from the flexural, impact, and hydraulic pressure tests performed on seven precast concrete driven energy piles is presented in this paper. The data is published and made publicly accessible through the open-access database DataverseNO. The dataset involves (a) material properties of all of the materials used in manufacturing the energy piles, (b) raw data files from impact tests, which are recorded by the pile driving analyzer (PDA) device and sensors, (c) the hydraulic pressure test data performed between the impact and bending tests, which includes the raw data of pressure measurements from analogue pressure gauge, and (d) the data from the bending tests which includes the raw and processed data files recorded by the displacement transducers, loadcell and also the raw and processed images for the digital image correlation (DIC) analysis.

As the global pursuit of renewable energy intensifies and the demand for offshore wind turbines rises, a comprehensive understanding of the coupling response characteristics of offshore monopiles, seabed, and waves in various sea conditions has become increasingly crucial. This paper reports on a wave flume experiment and seeks to contribute valuable insights by examining the coupling response of offshore monopiles, seabed, and waves exerting a relentless influence. The experimental results indicate that the impact of waves on monopiles is significant: there is greater pressure on the wave facing surface of the offshore piles than the other faces, and the pressure increases with increased wave height as well as the height of the monopile.

The increasing degree of urbanization has resulted in traffic and space congestion. When there is no longer any aboveground space for development, the existing space underground is excavated, and the construction of underground buildings is expected to solve the above problems. In the excavation of an underground layer, it is necessary to drive supplementary and existing piles into the soil to form a double-layer pile-supported structure.
