: The parallel stent graft endovascular aortic repair (PGEVAR) technique is an off-the-shelf option used for elective complex abdominal aortic aneurysm repair with acceptable outcome results, as reported so far. The PGEVAR technique, using chimney or periscope parallel grafts, can also be used for patients with ruptured complex abdominal aortic aneurysms. However, only few data about the mid- to long-term outcomes are available.

Intracranial atherosclerosis (ICAS) is a major cause of ischemic stroke, disproportionately affecting populations with significant vascular risk factors. Although ICAS imposes a considerable health burden, research on this condition in Central Asia remains scarce, especially among the Kazakh population. This study analyzes demographic characteristics, treatment outcomes, and procedural challenges associated with ICAS in 216 patients treated at a single institution.

Endovascular stent graft repair was developed to minimize the invasiveness of open surgery for thoracic and abdominal aortic diseases. This approach involves covering the diseased segment with a stented artificial graft. However, in thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) for aortic arch diseases, special consideration is needed to preserve the aortic arch vessels.

Coronary vasospasm involves constriction of the coronary arteries and has been described after manipulation of the coronary arteries (ie, after stenting or bypass grafting). This report details the case of a 57-year-old man who presented with an endoleak after thoracic endovascular aortic repair. He underwent a frozen elephant trunk procedure and postoperatively had diffuse coronary vasospasm, demonstrated on pre- and post-vasospasm cardiac catheterization.

Background: DeBakey type I aortic dissections (AD) are most frequently treated with hemiarch repair. A subset of patients demonstrates persistent distal end-organ ischemia secondary to persistent true lumen (TL) compression. We describe the use of bare metal stent grafting across the residual arch dissection with the Zenith Dissection Endovascular Stent (ZDES, Cook Medical) in 7 patients with type I AD that was repaired in a hemiarch configuration with a compromised distal TL and organ malperfusion.
