A new pseudoscorpion, Lagynochthonius bailongtanensis sp. nov., is described and illustrated from specimens collected in a cave in Luoping County, Yunnan Province, China. This species is notable in being strongly troglomorphic. A new identification key is provided to all known Chinese representatives of the genus Lagynochthonius.

This study focused on the relationships among gut microbiota, plasma protein ratios, and tuberculosis. Given the unclear causal relationship between gut microbiota and tuberculosis and the scarcity of research on relevant plasma protein ratios in tuberculosis, Mendelian randomization analysis (MR) was employed for in-depth exploration. By analyzing the GWAS data of individuals with European ancestry (the FinnGen dataset included 409,568 controls and 2613 cases), using the two-sample MR method, we focused on evaluating the impact of immunocyte-mediated gut microbiota on tuberculosis and the associations between 2821 plasma protein-to-protein ratios and tuberculosis.

Developing efficient and recyclable iodine adsorbents is crucial for addressing radioactive iodine pollution. An imidazole cation-bridged pillar[5]arene polymer (P5-P5I) was synthesized via a salt formation reaction. P5-P5I exhibited a high iodine vapor capture capacity of 2130.

Background: Sweet orange is an important economic crop, and salt stress can inhibit its growth and development.
Methods: In this study, we identified AP2/ERF genes in sweet orange via bioinformatics and performed a combined transcription‒metabolism analysis, which revealed for the first time the integrated molecular mechanism of salt stress regulation in sweet orange.
Key Results: A total of 131 sweet orange AP2/ERF genes were identified and categorized into five groups.

Background: The treatment of relapsed/refractory T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (R/R T-ALL) is a significant challenge in hematologic oncology, and no standard salvage treatment plan exists. Both Chinese and international clinical guidelines recommend combination chemotherapy including venetoclax.
Methods: Efficacy and safety of venetoclax, azacitidine, homoharringtonine, cytarabine, and aclarubicin (VA-HAA) combination therapy were retrospectively analyzed in 3 patients with R/R T-ALL at the Department of Hematology, 920th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force, Chinese People's Liberation Army.
