Introduction: This article aims to expand the microsurgical treatment options for extremity degloving injuries with perforator artery repairs of the specific degloved angiosomes in upper and lower extremity.
Methods: Fourteen perforator arteries were repaired in seven patients. Four of them had circumferential degloving and 3 of them have non circumferential degloving injury. All had repair of the perforator arteries of the specific degloved segments. Four patients had additional vein repairs but none of the patients had AV shunts.
Results: All perforators provided adequate arterial supply to their specific angiosomes with some necrotic areas in neighboring angiosomes.
Conclusions: Perforator artery repair within the degloved tissues provides a direct arterial supply successfully even if one could not find an intact venous plexus.

Background: Reaching parenchymal segments of the lateral lenticulostriate artery (LSA) perforators, which represent the medial resection limit in insular gliomas (IG), remains a challenge. The currently described methods are indirect and sometimes, imprecise.
Methods: We report an antegrade direct skeletonization technique to identify these tiny arteries at the medial end of IGs with an illustrative case of grade 2 astrocytoma.

A rare autopsy case of malignant transcription factor E3 (TFE3)-rearranged perivascular epithelioid cell tumor (PEComa)-like neoplasm is presented. An 84-year-old woman manifested multiple cerebral infarctions and repetitive embolic events in the supra mesenchymal artery (SMA), and the presence of a mobile mass in the heart's left ventricle was also revealed. Tumoral lesions were also found in a pelvic space and a right pleural cavity, and a biopsy was performed from one of the disseminated tumor masses in the right pleura.

Background: Autologous breast reconstruction patients require thorough assessment, with the profunda femoris artery perforator (PAP) flap having become an important autologous reconstruction option alongside the deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flap. Breast reconstruction impacts patients psychologically, physically and mentally. The BREAST-Q aids in the assessment of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs).

Complications of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) can lead to significant morbidity and mortality. In-depth understanding of the mechanisms and management options of these complications as well as timely recognition and action can sometimes be lifesaving. In this review we discuss the mechanisms, prevention methods, diagnosis, and management of three major PCI complications: a) perforation b) acute vessel closure, and c) equipment loss.

Introduction: The reverse sural flap (RSF) is a random-type, pedicled flap based on sural artery perforators indicated for traumatic lower-extremity wounds. The RSF has demonstrated comparable results to free flap placement in the adult population for reconstruction of distal third defects, but few reports describe its application and outcomes in the pediatric population.
Methods: We investigated RSF application in pediatric patients (<18 years of age) through systematic review and meta-analysis.
