A thorough understanding of ocular/optic nerve anatomy and traumatic pathology is fundamental in the accurate and efficient interpretation of emergency neuroradiology. This article will review relevant anatomy, imaging protocols, clinical symptomatology, and key imaging findings associated with the broad spectrum of traumatic ocular and optic nerve pathology.
