This narrative review explores the various injection techniques utilized in facial filler procedures, emphasizing their applications, benefits, and potential complications. The increasing demand for total facial contouring and rejuvenation has led to a rise in the use of volumizing fillers and the integration of these procedures with other treatments such as toxins, threads, lasers, radiofrequency, and ultrasound. Achieving satisfactory results necessitates a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy and the effects of aging on skin tissue.

Vitiligo, alopecia areata, atopic, and stasis dermatitis are common skin conditions that pose diagnostic and assessment challenges. Skin image analysis is a promising noninvasive approach for objective and automated detection as well as quantitative assessment of skin diseases. This review provides a systematic literature search regarding the analysis of computer vision techniques applied to these benign skin conditions, following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines.

Owing to their versatility, hydrogels can be loaded with various functional factors, making them promising wound dressings. However, many hydrogel dressings cannot support cell survival for a long time, thereby delaying the process of tissue repair.
