A phytochemical investigations on the -butanol fraction of Mill. residues resulted in the isolation of ten compounds, including two new ones, 4,4'dimethoxy-2,2'di---d-glucopyranosyl-truxinate () and 2-(-d-glucosyloxy)--cinnamic acid butyl ester (), along with eight known compounds. The structures of compounds were confirmed by NMR and HR-ESI-MS techniques and comparison with published data. The NMR data for were attributed for the first time. Compound was proofed to be a natural compound in plant rather than a butyl ester artifact formed by esterification reaction with butanol by comparative HPLC-DAD analysis with the ethanol extract which was obtained prior to the application of butanol. All isolated compounds were evaluated for their antioxidant and anti-hypoglycaemic activities. Among them, compounds and showed strong anti-oxidant activities against DPPH with IC values of 12.99 and 31.74 M, respectively. Compound exhibited moderate inhibitory activity against PTP1B with an IC value of 31.28 M.

A chiral porous organic polymer (cPOP) was synthesized through nucleophilic substitution polymerization between dichloromaleimide and aromatic amine. This study introduces a green approach to sample preparation by applying natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) to determine phthalates in carbonated soft drinks using high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detector (HPLC-DAD). The method employs hollow fiber-microporous membrane liquid-liquid microextraction combined with a 96-well plate system, utilizing fatty-acid-based DES in the pores of the membranes. This methodology substantially reduces the use of organic solvents, and its efficiency is comparable to or better than conventional methods.

Anilido-oxazoline-ligated iron complexes, including bis(anilido-oxazolinate) iron(II), mononuclear iron(II) alkyl and aryloxide, as well as the dinuclear analogues, were synthesized, and their catalytic performance on ring-opening polymerization (ROP) has been studied. Transmetalation of FeCl(THF) with in situ-generated anilido-oxazolinate lithium afforded the bis(anilido-oxazolinate) iron complexes and . Half-sandwich anilido-oxazolinate iron trimethylsilylalkyl complexes and could be synthesized in good yields via taking pyridine as an L-type ligand.
