Introduction: Portal hypertension is a common complication of liver cirrhosis. Varices are dilated collaterals that develop as a result of portal hypertension at the level of the porto-systemic connections and can cause a shift in the blood flow from high to low pressure. Common locations for porto-systemic shunts are the lower oesophagus and the gastric fundus.

Case report of a patient with a duodenal ulcer, initially treated with sclerosing agents, as is common practice for most bleeding ulcers. However, the evolution following this treatment is unusual. The patient developed secondary ischemic cholangitis, leading to extensive aerobilia and secondary portal pneumatosis, accompanied by inflammatory changes in the head of the pancreas.

Background: Uterine cystic adenomyosis is a rare form of focal adenomyosis that is primarily located within the myometrium. In this case report, we present a unique case of adult uterine cystic adenomyosis found outside the uterus following laparoscopic myomectomy.
Case Presentation: The patient was a 36-year-old Chinese woman who had previously undergone laparoscopic surgery at our hospital to remove a 4 cm diameter diameter uterine fibroid six years prior.
