Colorectal cancer remains an important cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. We present the case of a 58-year-old male patient admitted in Timişoara Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgical Center, Romania, with transverse colon cancer and synchronous liver metastases, who underwent a major hepatectomy and a segmental colon resection performed in the same operative time. The patient had a postoperative outcome without major complications and with no signs of local or distant recurrence at 15 months postoperatively. Conclusions: The synchronous approach of both the primary tumor and liver metastases in colorectal cancer is a possible therapeutic method, even in the case of major hepatectomies.

Background: In developed countries, most of the neurologists use pericranial nerve blocks to treat headache patients, nevertheless, the knowledge and use patterns of this technique in developing countries are unknown.
Objective: Evaluate the knowledge and use patterns of pericranial nerve blocks in headache treatment by Mexican neurologists.

Background: The presence of significant tortuosity in access routes to aneurysms can interfere with catheter guidance and manipulation and significantly impact treatment strategies.
Observations: In this report, the authors combined intentional staged aneurysm embolization with the construction of a new direct access route, which they call a "highway bypass," for a symptomatic posterior circulation cerebral aneurysm that was difficult to access with a catheter. Notably, the highway bypass is used for catheter passage, and technical tips should be considered.
