[Analyzing the Informational Content of Observational and Rating Data].

In rehabilitation, decisions are often based on ratings or judgements made by rehabilitation patients, therapists or peer-reviewers. But, depending on aspects of the assessment setting, ratings of an issue (e. g., quality of communication, quality of health care) may vary systematically or due to stochastic error components. Rating scores may be affected by the properties of the rater, raters' perspective (e. g., self- vs. external ratings), rating situation or measurement point in time, respectively. Hence, rating scores should be considered as composite scores comprising several systematic information aspects. Generalizability theory provides an analytical framework allowing to decompose underlying information facets and to determine their influence on the obtained rating data. First, a differentiated model can be identified ensuring a more valid data interpretation (generalizability aspect). Second, well-founded recommendations enhancing reliability and validity of the assessment may be derived (decision aspect). In this article we demonstrate how to apply generalizability theory to enhance the clarity of the informational content of ratings and to foster rating quality in typical rehabilitation settings.

This study aimed to analyse the pharmacokinetic data of RIF and 25-dRIF collected in adult patients treated for tuberculosis.

Methods: In adult patients receiving 10 mg/kg of RIF as part of a standard regimen for drug-susceptible pulmonary tuberculosis enrolled in the Opti-4TB study, plasma RIF and 25-dRIF concentrations were measured at various occasions.

The objectives of this study are to construct a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) model to diagnose and classify meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) based on the in vivo confocal microscope (IVCM) images and to evaluate the performance of the DCNN model and its auxiliary significance for clinical diagnosis and treatment. We extracted 6643 IVCM images from the three hospitals' IVCM database as the training set for the DCNN model and 1661 IVCM images from the other two hospitals' IVCM database as the test set to examine the performance of the model. Construction of the DCNN model was performed using DenseNet-169.

This study incorporates mouse-tracking (MT) into aIAT, which offers a more robust technique of memory detection. Participants were assigned to mock crime and then performed the aIAT with MT.

Ce1-xMnxVO4 with Improved Activity for Low-Temperature Catalytic Reduction of NO with NH3.

Novel Ce1-xMnxVO4 catalysts prepared via modified hydrothermal synthesis were used in selective catalytic reduction of NO using NH3 (NH3-SCR). The Ce1-xMnxVO4 catalysts displayed optimum NO removal efficiency at 250 oC. Physicochemical properties including crystal type, morphology, particle size, elemental composition, BET surface area, chemical bond, and valence state were studied by XRD, TEM, EDS, N2 adsorption-desorption, Raman spectroscopy, and XPS.
