Background/objective: Identifying research priorities of Veterans, MS researchers, and key stakeholders is critical to advance high-quality, evidence-based, and Veteran-specific MS care.
Methods: We used a modified Delphi approach to identify research priorities for Veterans with MS. Electronic surveys were distributed to Veterans with MS (n = 50,975), MS researchers (n = 191), VA healthcare providers (1,337), and funding agency representatives (n = 6) asking about their 2-3 most important research questions that would benefit Veterans with MS for researchers to answer in the next 5-10 years.

Layperson cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) use are vital for improving survival rates after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA), yet their application varies by community demographics. We evaluated the concerns and factors influencing willingness to perform CPR and use AEDs among laypersons in high-risk, low-resource communities. From April 2022 to March 2024, laypersons in Northern Manhattan's Community District 12 completed surveys assessing their attitudes toward CPR and AED use before attending Hands-Only CPR training.

Plastics are widely produced due to their stability and ease of manufacturing, but many of them quickly become a waste, breaking down into microplastics and nanoplastics. While methods for the identification and characterization of plastic particles are well consolidated, the small size of nanoplastics presents challenges for their detection and analysis. Furthermore, due to the difficulty of identifying nanoplastics, analytical studies concerning their effect on cells and a comprehensive spectroscopic characterization are still lacking.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a critical global health threat, necessitating the optimal use of existing antibiotics. Pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) principles provide a scientific framework for optimizing antimicrobial therapy, particularly to respond to evolving resistance patterns. This review examines PK/PD strategies for antimicrobial dosing optimization, focusing on three key aspects.

: China has a high incidence rate of varicella yet a low coverage rate of the varicella vaccine (VarV), with safety concerns being a leading cause of the lack of vaccination willingness. This study aimed to describe VarV-related adverse events following immunization (AEFIs) and analyze their characteristics in Zhejiang, China, 2020-2022. : VarV-related AEFIs in Zhejiang Province from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2022 were collected through the Chinese National AEFI Information System (CNAEFIS) for a descriptive epidemiological analysis.
