Although it is common for researchers to assess implementation fidelity (IF) within the context of math intervention, IF assessments are often restricted to intervention adherence. Further, the degree to which IF influences observed outcomes is commonly ignored. The current study examined the relationship between three aspects of IF and the math performance of 1,340 grade 4 through 8 students who participated in an evidence-based math intervention. A series of multilevel regression models were fit to the data, including a final model with an indicator of intervention adherence, intervention delivery quality, and intervention engagement. A significant and positive association was observed between students' math performance and intervention engagement; however, a similar relationship was not observed when examining the impact of adherence and the quality of intervention delivery on students' math performance. Results are discussed in the context of implementation research for educational interventions. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2020 APA, all rights reserved).

Background: So-called scores are a frequently used evaluation system in clinical examinations to assess the function or limitations of a joint such as the shoulder. However, research indicates that these general scores often have limited validity for specific patient groups, such as athletes. Known as a demanding patient population, athletes have unique needs.

Pharmacogenomics stands as a pivotal driver toward personalized medicine, aiming to optimize drug efficacy while minimizing adverse effects by uncovering the impact of genetic variations on inter-individual outcome variability. Despite its promise, the intricate landscape of drug metabolism introduces complexity, where the correlation between drug response and genes can be shaped by numerous nongenetic factors, often exhibiting heterogeneity across diverse subpopulations. This challenge is particularly pronounced in datasets such as the International Warfarin Pharmacogenetic Consortium (IWPC), which encompasses diverse patient information from multiple nations.

The existing research studies on the basin stability of stochastic systems typically focus on smooth systems, or the attraction basins are pre-defined as easily solvable regular basins. In this work, we introduce a new framework to discover the basin stability from state time series in the non-smooth stochastic competition system under threshold control. Specifically, we approximate the drift and diffusion with threshold control parameters by an extended Kramers-Moyal expansion with initial state partitioning.

Background: Previous research has underscored the efficacy of individual control strategies in mitigating influenza spread within communal settings; however, the unique dynamics of residential summer camps-characterized by close contact and high social interaction-present distinct challenges for outbreak management.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of two targeted antiviral prophylaxis protocols using oseltamivir in controlling influenza outbreaks within a residential youth camp, aiming to provide evidence-based insights for optimizing outbreak management in communal settings with high social interaction.

Design: This retrospective study analyzed the progression of influenza outbreaks in a residential youth camp using two antiviral prophylaxis protocols with oseltamivir.
