species are soil-borne and widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions around the world. The species in this genus include many important plant pathogens that cause serious diseases to economically important crops and forest trees. Previous research results indicated that the leaf blight and cutting rot caused by species caused big losses to the industry in southern China, and large number of species identified in China have been collected from soil in plantations. In this study, samples were isolated from soils close to plantations in Guangdong Province, southern China. These isolates were identified by DNA sequence analyses based on the calmodulin (), histone H3 (), translation elongation factor 1-alpha (), and β-tubulin () gene regions, and combined with morphological characteristics. One novel species of was identified and described, named , which resides in the Prolate Group. Results in this study suggest that more species of may be distributed in soils in China.

Background: Lately, numerous researches have portrayed stress hyperglycemia ratio (SHR) is predominantly connected with short-term adverse prognosis among individuals who have acute coronary syndrome. Nevertheless, the relation of SHR with prolonged effects and the value of SHR in predicting in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients with or lacking chronic kidney disease (CKD) remain unclear. The present study was designed to elucidate the relation of SHR with prolonged prognosis and the value of SHR in predicting the long-term all-cause and cardiovascular death of CAD patients with CKD or non-CKD.

Bacterial infections evoke considerable apprehension in orthopedics. Traditional antibiotic treatments exhibit cytotoxic effects and foster bacterial resistance, thereby presenting an ongoing and formidable obstacle in the realm of therapeutic interventions. Achieving bacterial eradication and osteogenesis are critical requirements for bone infection treatment.

Joint International Research Laboratory of Environment and Health, Ministry of Education, Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center of Environmental Pollution and Health Risk Assessment, Department of Occupational and Environmental Health, School of Public Health, Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, 510080, China. Electronic address:

Anthropogenic climate change will have a negative impact on worldwide well-being over and above the direct consequences of rising average temperatures. But anthropogenic heat (AH) relationship with childhood attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is unknown. To assess the relationship with AH exposure and childhood ADHD symptoms in the context of global climate change, this study was conducted in a cross-sectional survey from April 2012 to May 2018 in the northeastern, northwestern, and southern regions of China, with a total enrollment of 179,846 children aged 6-18 years.

4-Cyano-4'-ethoxybiphenyl (EBCN) is a representative cyano liquid crystal monomer (LCM). While prior studies have documented the widespread occurrence of LCMs in diverse environmental and biological samples, research on their reproductive effects in vivo remains limited. This study employed 35-day and 70-day exposure models in mice to assess the short-term and long-term effects of environmentally relevant concentrations of EBCN on testicular health.
