Objectives: The present study evaluates the prognostic value of metabolic parameters related to the primary tumor identifiedin preoperative fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) scans inpatients with endometrial cancer (EC).

Material And Methods: This study included 120 patients with EC who underwent PET/CT in the preoperative period. Thepatients' age, maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax), SUVmean, metabolic tumor volume (MTV) and the totallesion glycolysis (TLG) value of the primary tumor on PET/CT; as well as the stage, histological subtype, grade and size ofthe primary EC; the degree of myometrial invasion (MI) cervical invasion (CI), lymphovascular invasion (LVI), lymph nodemetastasis (LNM) and distant metastasis (DM) were all recorded. The relationship of these factors with progression-freesurvival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) was evaluated.

Results: The study included 120 patients with EC with a mean age of 62.3 ± 0.02 years. Of the total, 32 patients diedaround the time of the analysis and 38 patients showed disease progression. The mean OS was 32.7 ± 1.6 months and themean PFS was 30.5 ± 2.8 months. No significant relationship was identified between the SUVmax, SUVmean, MTV, TLGvalues, patient age, tumor size, histology, grade and MI degree, and OS or PFS. Disease stage, LVI, CI, LNM and DM wereidentified as prognostic factors for OS and PFS.

Conclusions: The present study found no significant relationship between preoperative PET parameters in EC and OS andPFS, although prospective studies involving a larger number of patients are required.

Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a self-limited, idiopathic, non-neoplastic disorder characterized by the proliferation of phagocytic histiocytes, which can mimic malignant lymphoproliferative disease. Cases of RDD most commonly present as bilateral painless cervical lymphadenopathy, with lesser involvement of the axilla, inguinal, and mediastinal lymph nodes. We present the case of a 62-year-old woman with a history of endometrial serous carcinoma who underwent evaluation at a dedicated breast imaging department after positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) revealed breast masses and axillary nodes with increased uptake of fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG).

Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Ä°zmir University of Economics, Ä°zmir, Turkey.

Objective: The prevalence of breast cancer and gynaecological cancers is high, and these cancer types can occur consecutively as secondary cancers. The aim of our study is to determine the genes commonly expressed in these cancers and to identify the common hub genes and drug components.

Materials And Methods: Gene intensity values of breast cancer, gynaecological cancers such as cervical, ovarian and endometrial cancers were used from the Gene Expression Omnibus database Affymetrix Human Genome U133 Plus 2.

: Endometrial cancer (UCEC) has a significant detrimental effect on patient quality of life. Although pyroptosis-related genes have been reported to contribute to tumor pathogenesis, the specific mechanism of pyroptosis in patients with UCEC remains elusive. We provide an overview of the landscape of pyroptosis-related genes in UCEC tissues through single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-Seq) datasets from the tissues of UCEC of 6089 cells.

NCAPG promotes the progression of endometrial cancer (EC) through PI3K-AKT pathway and has potential as a novel tumor marker. However, the precise regulatory mechanism of NCAPG remains inadequately understood. In this study, we applied Assay for Transposase Accessible Chromatin with high-throughput sequencing (ATAC-Seq) analysis combined with chromatin immunoprecipitation-qPCR (CHIP) and Co-Immunoprecipitation (CoIP) analysis to analysis for the first time that NCAPG promotes EC cell proliferation, migration and invasion by affecting the binding of LEF1 to chromatin, thereby affecting the transcription of downstream SEMA7A.

Endometrial cancer, a common gynecological malignancy, poses significant clinical challenges, particularly in advanced or recurrent cases. TANK-binding kinase 1 (TBK1), a serine/threonine kinase, plays crucial roles in inflammation and immunity by activating nuclear factor (NF)-κB and interferon regulatory factor 3. However, its specific roles in endometrial cancer remain unknown.
