Published: October 2019

A facile, low-cost precipitation method, utilizing an autogenously protective atmosphere without the assistance of an inert atmosphere, is proposed to synthesize nano-sized Prussian white K1.62Fe[Fe(CN)6]0.92·0.33H2O. The cathode delivers a high capacity of 120.9 mA h g-1 at 50 mA g-1 and an ultrahigh capacity retention of 98.2% after 100 cycles.

Introduction And Importance: Ameloblastoma is a benign but locally aggressive odontogenic tumor mostly occurring in the jaws. Ameloblastoma can be difficult to diagnose because it mimics other benign lesions. Its diagnosis requires a combination of imaging data, histopathological analysis, and molecular tests.

Purpose Of Review: Regenerative medicine through interventional pain procedures is evolving with data demonstrating efficacy for a number of pain states in recent years. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP), defined as a sample of plasma with a platelet concentration 3 to 5 times greater than the physiologic platelet concentration found in healthy whole blood, releases bioactive proteins which can restore anatomical function in degenerative states. PRP is dense in growth factors, such as platelet-derived growth factor, transforming growth factor-beta1, basic fibroblastic growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, and epidermal growth factors.

Self-healing concrete is an innovative construction material designed to repair its cracks autogenously or autonomously. The self-healing effect reduces the need for maintenance and increases the longevity of concrete structures, bringing environmental and economic benefits. However, the developed methods to improve self-healing performance, e.

The future of treating inherited and acquired genetic diseases will be defined by our ability to introduce transgenes into cells and restore normal physiology. Here we describe an autogenous transgene regulatory system (ARES), based on the bacterial lac repressor, and demonstrate its utility for controlling the expression of a transgene in bacteria, eukaryotic cells, and in the retina of mice. This ARES system is inducible by the small non-pharmacologic molecule, Isopropyl β-D-1-thiogalactopyranoside (IPTG) that has no off-target effects in mammals.
