Elevated progesterone (EP) or inadequate progesterone levels during ART cycle monitoring may lead to cycle cancellations or further progesterone supplementation, but practice varies. It remains controversial whether modifying clinical practice in the presence or absence of EP improves clinical outcomes. This systematic review aims to investigate if progesterone levels at different phases of fresh and frozen ART cycles influence pregnancy outcomes, in particular, that pertaining to day 3 versus day 5 embryo transfers.

Introduction: Endometrial cyst, or endometrioma, is a specific form of endometriosis that often reveals with severe symptoms and requires ongoing treatment. High rate of recurrence after surgical intervention presents a significant challenge in the management of this disease.
Aim Of The Study: Aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of combined therapy (surgical and hormonal) of endometrioma in terms of development of recurrences, the rate of pregnancy and change in pain intensity.

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory cutaneous disease characterized by recurrent painful nodules, abscesses and sinus tract on the apocrine gland-bearing skin. The role of sex hormones in the pathogenesis as well as the use of hormonal treatment in the management of HS is still debated. We performed a retrospective cohort study including 183 patients to assess the influence of combined estrogen-progestin oral contraceptive (COC) in HS onset and disease severity.

Introduction: Endometriosis and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) are gynecological conditions affecting women of reproductive age and causing pain symptoms. The symptoms caused by these conditions are similar; thus, the differential diagnosis may be challenging. The treatment of these conditions is very different because PID is treated with antibiotic therapy, while endometriosis is treated with hormonal therapies suppressing estrogen levels.
