Purpose: To assess if drusen volume can serve as structural clinical outcome marker in Malattia Leventinese (ML), and to evaluate whether cones or rods are more affected by its progression, using multimodal imaging and mesopic and two-color scotopic microperimetry.
Methods: This was a prospective monocentric cross-sectional cohort study of participants with genetically confirmed ML. Participants were classified according to morphology.

The superiority of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography (PET) over conventional staging methods such as computed tomography (CT) and bone scintigraphy has now been demonstrated for almost all clinical stages of prostate cancer. In primary diagnostics, PSMA-PET/CT is therefore the new standard for risk-adapted whole-body staging. At the same time, PSMA-PET/CT provides a new risk-based classification for predicting overall survival across all early and late stages of the disease.

Unlabelled: Avian leukosis virus subgroup J (ALV-J) poses a significant threat to the poultry industry; yet, our understanding of its replication and pathogenic mechanisms is limited. The Ten-Eleven Translocation 2 (TET2) is an indispensable regulatory factor in active DNA demethylation and immune response regulation. This study reports a significant and time-dependent decrease in TET2 levels following ALV-J infection and shows that the reduction of TET2 protein is mediated by the autophagy pathway.

A 28-year-old woman was diagnosed with high-risk triple-expressor diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) (stage IV, IPI 4, CNS-IPI 5), with lymph node and extranodal involvement. The patient underwent first-line R-CHOP treatment, achieving a partial response with residual mediastinal uptake. A second-line platinum-based therapy with a transplant plan followed, resulting in stable disease; thus, she was considered refractory and started third-line therapy with CAR-T cells, receiving additional chemotherapy as bridging therapy.

Late-line treatment in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) can improve prognosis. However, not every patient has a benefit and may experience severe side effects. Thus, predictive/prognostic biomarkers are urgently needed.
