: Gastric cancer (GC) is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. C118P, a microtubule inhibitor with anti-angiogenic and vascular-disrupting activities, was proven to be cytotoxic to various cancer cell lines. This study aimed to explore the anti-tumor effect of C118P against gastric cancer and identify its potential target.

Unlabelled: Gastric cancer is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates and seriously threatens human life. Our research aimed to explore the effects of poly (A) binding protein cytoplasmic 1 (PABPC1) on gastric cancer cells and elucidate the underlying mechanisms.
Methods: PABPC1 levels in gastric cancer cell lines were assessed by western blotting and RT-qPCR.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have dramatically transformed the treatment landscape for various malignancies, achieving notable clinical outcomes across a wide range of indications. Despite these advances, resistance to immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) remains a critical clinical challenge, characterized by variable response rates and non-durable benefits. However, growing research into the complex intrinsic and extrinsic characteristics of tumors has advanced our understanding of the mechanisms behind ICI resistance, potentially improving treatment outcomes.

Gastric cancer (GC) is the most common malignant tumor of the gastrointestinal tract and currently has a poor clinical outcome. Turmeric's rhizome contains a polyphenolic component called curcumin (Cur), which has been demonstrated to inhibit a variety of tumor cells, such as pancreatic, colon, lung and gastric cancers. However, it remains to be elucidated how Cur functions in GC and what molecular processes underlie it.

Aims: Chronic periodontitis is the sixth most prevalent disease worldwide and the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. With growing attention on the role of inflammatory and immune responses in its pathogenesis, there is an urgent need to evaluate host-modulatory agents. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) drugs play a crucial role in managing inflammatory conditions.
