Fetal urinomas are often diagnosed in prenatal ultrasonography. The etiology is usually an obstructive uropathy leading to hydronephrosis and increased intrarenal pressure putting future kidney function at risk. Rupture of pyelocaliceal system in such cases may lead to retroperitoneal urinoma or urinary ascites, sepsis, uraemia, and acute renal failure.

Intra-peritoneal migration of abdominal drain is a rare complication. Cutting of abdominal drain and putting a colostomy bag over it is done to reduce the pain and infection and to increase the mobility of a patient, but it is also a risk factor for drain intra-peritoneal migration. This case report depicts a case of intra-peritoneal migration of abdominal drain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy and its retrieval.

BACKGROUND Abdominal pregnancy is a special type of ectopic pregnancy, characterized by implantation of the embryo in the peritoneal cavity, with tubal, ovarian, and intraligamentary pregnancies excluded, accounting for approximately 1% of all cases. It was first reported in 1708 after an autopsy and since then numerous cases have been reported, with a current incidence of 1: 10 000 to 1: 30 000 pregnancies. CASE REPORT We report the case of a 27-year-old woman, resident of the city of Caxias do Sul, Brazil, with an extra-uterine pregnancy by ultrasound diagnosis at 25 weeks and 1 day of gestational age and a live fetus.

As well as severe immunosuppression, other predisposing factors may facilitate invasive mycosis caused by molds. Chronic kidney disease and the resulting peritoneal dialysis have been reported as factors putting patients at risk of fungal infections from environmental sources. We describe an environmental investigation undertaken to guide exposure prevention for a peritoneal dialysis patient with transient colonization of her nostrils by in a rural area of northern Germany.
