Preserving a replaced left hepatic artery may be feasible and safe during 3D laparoscopic totally minimally invasive esophagectomy. Avoidance of conversion to an open procedure may be achieved after careful dissection of the celiac trunk lymph nodes, expertise and the visual advantage that 3D vision offers.

Background: Neuroendocrine tumors of the thymus (NETT) are rare and malignant tumors that arise in the anterior mediastinum. These tumors can exhibit aggressive behavior and may involve surrounding critical structures, such as the superior vena cava. This case contributes to the literature by presenting a recurrent thymic carcinoma with invasion of major blood vessels, including the superior vena cava, and the complexities involved in its surgical management.

The Ross procedure continues to be the best procedure to address unrepairable aortic valve pathology, especially in young adults. The Achilles heel of this procedure has been aortic root dilation and the potential need for a reoperation that may be associated with slightly increased risks in addition to the need for intervention on the pulmonary outflow tract. Modifying the Ross procedure by autograft inclusion inside a Dacron graft seems to have the potential advantage of stabilizing the autograft diameter, which may be associated with improved durability and decrease the need for future intervention.

(1) Background: Cerebral magnetic resonance imaging has reported new cerebral ischemic lesions after left atrial appendage (LAA) closure in about one- third of patients. Stroke occurs predominantly periprocedurally. This study evaluated the characteristics of embolized debris captured by the SENTINEL cerebral embolic protection system in patients undergoing LAA closure; (2) Methods: Sixty filters of 30 consecutive patients undergoing LAA closure with the WATCHMAN FLX device were collected and captured debris was analyzed by histopathology and histomorphometry.

Background: Dextrocardia is a rare cardiac malposition where the heart's normal orientation is reversed and is most commonly associated with situs inversus totalis (SIT). Such cases are technically challenging when heart surgery is needed, especially re-do surgery.
Case Presentation: A 72-year-old female patient was referred to our hospital with complaints of chest tightness and reduced activity tolerance.

Aims: Although an association between the systemic circulation and transaortic flow rate (TFR) is frequently hypothesized in patients with aortic stenosis (AS), it has not been demonstrated previously. We sought to explore the relationship between blood pressure (BP), vascular afterload measures, clinical history of hypertension, TFR, and survival in patients with severe AS (aortic valve area ≤ 1 cm²).
Methods And Results: We studied 323 patients ≥ 65 years (110 prospective, 213 registry analysis) who underwent transcatheter aortic valve replacement over a 5-year period.
