Childhood cancer challenges academic success and school engagement, yet little research has described these hardships. This study documented parental perspectives of the educational barriers and unmet needs of youth treated for cancer ( = 102). Treatment-related physical sequelae were noted as common problems interfering with school attendance and engagement. One-fourth of parents reported worse academic performance since diagnosis; however, many never had their child evaluated (63.3%) or enacted formalized educational accommodations (55%). Findings reflect educational challenges across the continuum of cancer care and survivorship, and highlight the importance of education of school staff on both acute and long-term effects of cancer treatment.

Introduction: Knowledge sharing is an effective means of knowledge management in colleges and universities, which is of great significance for improving the quality and efficiency of universities and enhancing the balanced development of educational resources. The present study investigated the influence students' proactive personalities drive knowledge-sharing activities, and examined the significance of class climate and learning engagement as mediating factors, utilizing the perspectives of social exchange theory (SET) and the job demands and resources model (JD-R) .
Methods: A convenience sampling method was employed to survey 1,053 Chinese college students, and evaluated them using the Proactive Personality Scale (PPS), Learning Engagement Scale (LES), Class Climate Scale (CCS), and Knowledge Sharing Behavior Scale (KSBS).

Background: The Patient-Centered Clinical Method (PCCM) plays an important role in family doctors' ability to communicate effectively with patients. Although the parenting experiences of healthcare providers can be utilized to communicate with patients, it is unclear how they contribute to family doctors' practice.
Methods: A qualitative descriptive study focusing on the parenting experiences of Japanese family doctors and their perceptions of how these experiences interfaced with their clinical practice of the PCCM was conducted.
