The edge-Wiener index is conceived in analogous to the traditional Wiener index and it is defined as the sum of distances between all pairs of edges of a graph G. In the recent years, it has received considerable attention for determining the variations of its computation. Motivated by the method of computation of the traditional Wiener index based on canonical metric representation, we present the techniques to compute the edge-Wiener and vertex-edge-Wiener indices of G by dissecting the original graph G into smaller strength-weighted quotient graphs with respect to Djoković-Winkler relation. These techniques have been applied to compute the exact analytic expressions for the edge-Wiener and vertex-edge-Wiener indices of coronoid systems, carbon nanocones and SiO nanostructures. In addition, we have reduced these techniques to the subdivision of partial cubes and applied to the circumcoronene series of benzenoid systems.

Study Design: This was a retrospective study at Noma Children Hospital, Sokoto, Nigeria, from January 2018 to December 2021.
Objective: The main objective of this appraisal was to present Braimah-Taiwo et al's new classification system for mandibulo-maxillary synostosis secondary to noma and also to provide a guide to their treatment.
Methods: Noma with mandibulo-maxillary synostosis was the main inclusion criteria.

Background: Extra-articular distal humerus locking plates (EADHPs) have been widely employed for the treatment of extra-articular fractures of the distal humerus, but interference with the radial nerve and poor fastening of distal fracture fragments by screws remain. The aim of this study is to evaluate the clinical and imaging effects of the anterolateral approach in the treatment of extra-articular fractures of the distal humerus with the upside-down use of proximal humerus internal locking system (PHILOS) plates in front of the humerus.
Method: A retrospective analysis (10/2018-10/2022) was conducted on the clinical data of patients with extra-articular fractures of the distal humerus treated with the upside-down use of the PHILOS via the anterolateral approach.

Background: Arthroscopic reduction internal fixation (ARIF) is gaining popularity for displaced radial head fractures. However, it has yet to be widely performed. ARIF offers a complete view of the articular surfaces of the radial head, capitulum, and coronoid and diagnoses and treats other associated injuries.

Purpose: Classification systems and treatment for children with radial longitudinal deficiency are classically focused on the hand and wrist. However, the elbow can affect the function of these patients secondary to stiffness or instability. The objective of this study was to determine if a correlation exists between severity of radial longitudinal deficiency (RLD) and degree of proximal ulnar hypoplasia.
