Background: The Institute of Medicine calls for meaningful collaboration between doctor of nursing practice (DNP)- and doctor of philosophy (PhD)-prepared nurses to improve health outcomes.
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to answer the questions: 1) how do Colleges of Nursing influence DNP and PhD collaboration for faculty and students? 2) how does DNP and PhD collaboration in an academic setting impact health care practices and patient outcomes?
Methods: Two examples of DNP and PhD collaboration (one faculty and one student) are presented.
Results: Shared faculty responsibilities and a supportive organizational culture influenced collaboration between faculty and students. Research and practice roles can complement and strengthen each other while improving health outcomes.
Conclusion: Colleges of Nursing should build processes and culture that encourage faculty and students to collaborate across doctoral programs. Successful intraprofessional collaboration has the potential to positively impact healthcare quality, and outcomes, while advancing the nursing profession.

The COVID-19 pandemic presented opportunities for educational innovations and the development of intercultural learning experiences. A global health assignment guided by a collaborative online international learning pedagogy was assigned to doctoral nursing students from three different countries. Icebreaker activities, along with the Culturally You diagram, commenced the team-building process.

Aim: This article describes the implementation, baseline cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills, and competence and confidence in skills of participants in 12 nursing programs piloting the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) program. Of 1,847 participants, 175 had not previously completed a CPR course.
Method: Schools could choose the sequence for completing baselines skills and required e-learning modules.

The purpose of this study was to identify and explore certified registered nurse anesthetists' (CRNA) knowledge, current practices, and barriers to proper sharps waste disposal practices in the operating room. Approximately 100 CRNAs who practice anesthesia in the Mid-Atlantic region at 10 different hospitals were given an electronic survey. Forty CRNAs completed the 15-question de novo quantitative descriptive survey.
