This contribution contains a GPlates digital reconstruction of the northern Andes and southern Caribbean margin for the last 90 Ma. It is built using different strain datasets fully described in "Continental Margin Response to Multiple Arc-Continent Collisions: the Northern Andes-Caribbean Margin" [1]. Two digital reconstructions are included here: one is a rigid block reconstruction, and the other is a continuously closing polygon reconstruction digitized every one -million years. We placed the South and North American plates at the root of the reconstruction tree, so that the Andean blocks move with respect to the former, and the Caribbean Plate, and related intra-oceanic arcs with respect to the latter. These reconstructions can be used as templates to place in palinspastic space any dataset that can be represented by lines or points.

Retrospective datasets offer essential context for conservation by revealing species' ecological roles before industrial-era human impacts. We analysed isotopic compositions of pre-industrial and modern sea otters () to reconstruct pre-extirpation ecology and offer insights for management. Our study focuses on southeast Alaska (SEAK), where sea otters are recolonizing, and northern Oregon, where translocations are being considered.

A nearly ubiquitous negative relationship between taxonomic richness and mean range-size (average area of taxa) is observed across space. However, the complexity of the mechanism limits its applicability for conservation or range prediction. We explore whether the relationship holds over time, and whether plant speciation, environmental heterogeneity, or plant interactions are major factors of the relationship within northeast Siberia and Alaska.

The ecophysiological and ecohydrological impacts of climate change and progressively increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO) concentration on agroecosystems are not well understood compared to the forest ecosystems. In this study, we utilized the presence of old apple and pear trees in the alpine valleys of Northern Italy (maintained for cultural heritage purposes) to investigate climate-scale physiological responses. We developed long-term tree-ring stable isotopic records (δC and δO) from apple (1976-2021) and pear trees (1943-2021).

The vegetation index is a key satellite-based variable used to monitor global vegetation distribution and growth. However, existing vegetation index datasets face limitations in achieving both high spatial and temporal resolution, restricting their application potential. This study revised a machine learning spatiotemporal fusion model (InENVI) to produce a high-resolution NDVI dataset with 8-day temporal and 30 m spatial resolution, covering China from 2001 to 2020.

To evaluate the drug release, cytocompatibility with periodontal ligament cells (PDLCs), and therapeutic efficacy of GelMA hydrogel loaded with resolvin D1 (RvD1) in treating rat periodontal inflammation and alveolar bone damage. An RvD1 complexed with GelMA was prepared, and its release kinetics and compatibility with PDLCs were assessed. Rats with induced periodontitis were treated weekly with topical applications of vehicle, GelMA, RvD1, or RvD1 complexed with GelMA for four weeks.
