N-methyladenosine (mA) is the most abundant eukaryote mRNA modification, modulated by regulators known as epigenetic writers, erasers and readers, which are known to serve crucial roles in mRNA metabolism. However, the role of mA during B-cell development and B-cell tumorigenesis remains poorly understood. By analyzing the gene expression profile of 123 mantle cell lymphoma cases from the Gene Expression Omnibus database, the present study demonstrated that one-half of the mA regulators were able to predict patient survival in mantle cell lymphoma, notably the mA.index. The expression levels of the mA regulators were regarded as good classifiers in mantle cell lymphoma. The mA.index-low mantle cell lymphoma type exhibited a poor patient survival and lower mRNA levels from the total transcriptome. The mA regulators may be associated with the cell division and the RNA metabolic pathways, which may result in poor survival of patients with mantle cell lymphoma.

This study was conducted using a nationwide health care database of Japan between 1 April 2008 and 30 September 2022 to evaluate the economic burden on patients with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). Structural equation modeling (SEM) is an advanced multivariate analysis framework used to assess the relationships between observed and latent variables within predefined causal models. In this study, SEM was employed to identify cost drivers and estimate variables related to MCL treatment cost.

Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy is a novel immunotherapy for the treatment of refractory malignancies. While various complications have been described previously, sclerosing cholangitis has not been reported. We report the first description of sclerosing cholangitis secondary to Tecartus CAR-T therapy in a 67-year-old man with refractory stage IV mantle cell lymphoma.

Phase transitions in the mantle control its internal dynamics and structure. The post-spinel transition marks the upper-lower mantle boundary, where ringwoodite dissociates into bridgmanite plus ferropericlase, and its Clapeyron slope regulates mantle flow across it. This interaction has previously been assumed to have no lateral spatial variations, based on the assumption of a linear post-spinel boundary in pressure and temperature.

Pinctada birnavirus (PiBV) is the causative agent of summer atrophy in pearl oyster ( (Gould)). The disease, which induces mass mortality in juveniles less than 1 year old and abnormalities in adults, was first reported in Japan in 2019. Research on the disease has been hindered by the lack of cell lines capable of propagating PiBV.
