Metabolic syndrome (Mets) in adolescents is a growing public health issue linked to obesity, hypertension, and insulin resistance, increasing risks of cardiovascular disease and mental health problems. Early detection and intervention are crucial but often hindered by complex diagnostic requirements. This study aims to develop a predictive model using NHANES data, excluding biochemical indicators, to provide a simple, cost-effective tool for large-scale, non-medical screening and early prevention of adolescent MetS.

Traditionally, abiotic factors such as pH, temperature, and initial Cr(VI) concentration have been undoubtedly recognized as the external driving forces that dramatically affect the microbial-mediated remediation of Cr(VI) pollutants. However, concentrating on whether and how the biological behaviors and metabolic activities drive the microbial-mediated Cr(VI) detoxification is a study-worthy but little-known issue. In this study, Leucobacter chromiireducens CD49 isolated from heavy-metal-contaminated soil was identified to tolerate 8000.

To solve the issue of inconvenient and dangerous manual operation during the installation and removal of the main pipe plugging plate in the steam generator in nuclear power plants, a ten-degree-of-freedom plugging robot was designed in the present study that includes a collaborative robotic arm coupled with a servo electric cylinder. By establishing a joint coordinate system for the robot model, a D-H parameter model for the plate plugging robot was established, and the forward and inverse kinematics were solved. The volume level approximate convex decomposition algorithm was used to fit the steam generator model with a convex packet, and an experimental simulation platform was constructed.
