To understand the interactions of entomopathogenic fungi with forage plants and their influence on associated herbivorous, we evaluated the influence of endophytic colonization with three isolates (CEPAF_ENT 25, CEPAF_ENT 27, and IBCB 425) of Metarhizium anisopliae on Cynodon dactylon, regarding the biological and behavioral aspects of Collaria scenica, an emerging sucking pest in pastoral systems in Brazil. The application of suspensions at the base of plant (drench) was effective in promoting endophytic colonization, especially in the roots, with emphasis on isolates CEPAF_ENT25 and CEPAF_ENT27. Despite the significant reduction in damage caused by C.

Introduction: Non-nutritive sucking (NNS) is commonly employed to assist in the development of preterm infants facing feeding challenges. The effectiveness of NNS interventions on sucking performance (suction and expression/compression component of sucking) in this population has not yet to be systematically explored.
Aims: To review the literature on the effects of NNS on sucking performance in preterm infants.

Purpose: The Japan Association of Neonatal Nursing evaluated the pain care provided by parents to their infants admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). However, further collaborations with families based on family-centered care are necessary to clarify the parental intentions and requests regarding pain care for their infants. This study aimed to describe the experiences and content of nonpharmacological pain care provided by parents to their infants, the intentions and requests of parents regarding each type of recommended pain care (irrespective of whether they had provided pain care at the NICU), and the reasons for their hesitation to implement specific pain management methods.

Neonates exhibit pain responses characterized by various endocrinal changes, including alterations in cortisone and oxytocin serum levels, as well as physiological and emotional reactions. The administration of neonatal pain management leads to the normalization of endocrine hormones, including cortisone and oxytocin, which are affected by the presence of neonatal pain. Diagnosing neonatal pain is complex; however, effective management is essential.

Objectives: To investigate the effects of music intervention on the vital signs, weight gain, feeding, hospital stays, and cost of premature infants.
Methods: 100 premature infants were randomized into two groups: the experimental group (given music for 30 min at a time, once every day until discharge) and the control group (without music). To compare the vital signs (RR, HR, SPO) before, during, and after the music intervention, as well as the weight gain and feeding, follow up to 3 months after discharge.
