The paper presents the dose mapping of the panoramic Co gamma irradiation facility at the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Croatia. Both experimental (using ionisation chamber) and simulation (using the Geant4 Monte Carlo code) studies have been performed and compared. Measured and simulation dose rates are found to be in very good agreement and can be used for the absorbed dose determination in the irradiation chamber in everyday work. In order to get a complete description of the dose distribution in the facility, the transit dose, which has to be taken into consideration at low doses, was also experimentally determined.

Background And Purpose: Quantitative MRI (qMRI) has been explored for detecting tumor changes during radiation therapy (RT) in head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC). Clinical trials show prolonged survival with PD-1 targeted immune checkpoint inhibition. Hypofractionated radiation regimens are being studied to counteract radioresistant clonogen formation.

Background: Successful isolation of the superior vena cava (SVC) using a functional conduction block between the right atrium (RA) and SVC has been documented. However, a comparison of this approach with the conventional method (CM) of circumferential ablation of the RA-SVC junction, based on angiography, remains unexplored.
Objective: In this study, we employed the innovative omnipolar mapping technology (OT) to discern the RA-SVC connection and compared clinical outcomes with those from CM.

Introduction: The core objective of this study was to precisely locate metastatic lymph nodes, identify potential areas in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients that may not require radiotherapy, and propose a hypothesis for reduced target volume radiotherapy on the basis of these findings. Ultimately, we reassessed the differences in dosimetry of organs at risk (OARs) between reduced target volume (reduced CTV2) radiotherapy and standard radiotherapy.
Methods And Materials: A total of 209 patients participated in the study.

Background: The National Expanded Program on Immunization in the Democratic Republic of the Congo implemented a program in 9 Provinces to generate georeferenced immunization microplans to strengthen the planning and implementation of vaccination services. The intervention aimed to improve identification and immunization of zero-dose children and overall immunization coverage.
Methods: This study applies a mixed-methods design including survey tools, in-depth interviews and direct observation to document the uptake, use, and acceptance of the immunization microplans developed with geospatial data in two intervention provinces and one control province from February to June 2023.

Background: Fungal invasive infections caused by Candida species pose a substantial public health risk with limited therapeutic options. Antifungal susceptibility testing (AFST) is necessary to optimize the therapy. The study aimed to compare different AFST methods of Candida spp.
