Background: Coronary physiology measured by fractional flow reserve (FFR) is superior to angiography for assessing the efficacy of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Yet, the clinical adoption of post-PCI FFR is limited. Murray law-based quantitative flow ratio (μQFR) may represent a promising alternative, as it can quickly compute FFR from a single angiographic view.

Aim: To define the indications and outcomes of intraoperative ablation of hepatic malignancies.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study comprises 27 patients (male/female: 19/8; mean age: 56 ± 13) undergoing intraoperative ablation (IOA) of liver tumours between July 2001 and August 2021 for 42 tumours, including colorectal liver metastasis (CRLM) (n = 27), hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)(n = 14), and ovarian cancer metastasis (n = 1). Objective: To determine the diagnostic accuracy and procedure safety of ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy of extra cranial solid masses in the pediatric population.
Method: A cross-sectional survey was conducted by the Department of Pediatric Hematology /Oncology and Radiology at Indus Hospital and Health Network Karachi from August 2022 to April 2023. A total of 118 pediatric patients, from age one month to 18 years, with extra cranial solid masses were studied.
Purpose: To evaluate the safety, diagnostic accuracy, and factors influencing the diagnostic yield of ultrasound (US)-guided omental biopsies.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included 109 patients who underwent US-guided omental biopsies between June 2020 and June 2024. Pre-biopsy diagnostic images (CT, MRI, or [18 F]FDG PET/CT) were reviewed.
