Revision total knee arthroplasty (rTKA) is an increasingly common challenge for arthroplasty surgeons. The survivorship of rTKA is significantly lower than that of primary total knee arthroplasty, resulting in an increasing incidence of repeat rTKA. These cases present multifactorial challenges including the skin and soft-tissue envelopes, bone loss, ligamentous compromise, and often a history of periprosthetic joint infection.

Faced with anomalies in medical images, Deep learning is facing major challenges in detecting, diagnosing, and classifying the various pathologies that can be treated via medical imaging. The main challenges encountered are mainly due to the imbalance and variability of the data, as well as its complexity. The detection and classification of skin diseases is one such challenge that researchers are trying to overcome, as these anomalies present great variability in terms of appearance, texture, color, and localization, which sometimes makes them difficult to identify accurately and quickly, particularly by doctors, or by the various Deep Learning techniques on offer.

Lichen planus is an inflammatory disease that affects the skin and mucous membranes, and although rare, it can manifest in the vulvar region. Vulvar lichen planus can occur in women of reproductive age and may cause vulvar adhesion, potentially complicating examinations and delivery during pregnancy. We report a case in which a pregnant woman with vulvar adhesion due to vulvar lichen planus successfully delivered vaginally following labiaplasty.

Background: Breast reconstruction practices, predominantly implant-based, have evolved, with meshes aiding in overcoming traditional limitations. However, data comparing mesh-assisted prepectoral reconstruction with implants alone are lacking. This study aimed to assess whether synthetic meshes in prepectoral reconstruction impact postoperative complications.
