The deficiency of nonlinear-optical (NLO) materials in the IR region inspires strong research interest in this field. Here, SnGaS (), crystallizing in the orthorhombic 2 space group, demonstrates obvious NLO activity, around a maximum of 1.6 times that of AgGaS and a strong laser-induced damage threshold of 9.7 times that of AGS. represents the first NLO-active compound in the MMQ (M = divalent Ca, Sr, Ba, Pb, Sn, and Eu; M = B, Al, Ga, and In; Q = S and Se) family. The NLO performances of are systematically studied experimentally and theoretically.

Purpose The present study aimed to clarify the distribution pattern of carcinoma associated fibroblasts (CAFs) across pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and its prognostic prediction value. Methods Data of two cohorts were retrospectively collected from consecutive patients who underwent primary pancreatic resection from January 2015 to December 2017. We used tumor specimens to screen out the most suitable markers for the spatial distribution analysis for CAFs subpopulations.

Time perception and enjoyment of professional soccer players in different training sessions: Implications for assessment of session-RPE and training load. J Strength Cond Res 38(12): e754-e760, 2024-The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the perception of time and enjoyment levels among professional soccer players varied according to the type of training undertaken and whether this influenced the training load (TL) assessment method of session-rating of perceived exertion (sRPE).

To date, III-V semiconductor-based tandem devices with GaInP top photoabsorbers show the highest solar-to-electricity or solar-to-fuel conversion efficiencies. In photoelectrochemical (PEC) cells, however, III-V semiconductors are sensitive, in terms of photochemical stability and, therefore, require suitable functional layers for electronic and chemical passivation. GaN films are discussed as promising options for this purpose.

Robust genetic characterization of paediatric AML has demonstrated that fusion oncogenes are highly prevalent drivers of AML leukemogenesis in young children. Identification of fusion oncogenes associated with adverse outcomes has facilitated risk stratification of patients, although successful development of precision medicine approaches for most fusion-driven AML subtypes have been historically challenging. This knowledge gap has been in part due to difficulties in targeting structural alterations involving transcription factors and in identification of a therapeutic window for selective inhibition of the oncofusion without deleterious effects upon essential wild-type proteins.

Although social determinants of health (SDoH) investigations have shown limited analyses of socioeconomic and race-ethnic status on certain hematologic malignancies, the impact of factors beyond those across a fuller scope of hematologic cancers remains unknown. The Social Vulnerability Index (SVI), a tool for assessing varied US-census derived sociodemographic factors, allows the specific quantification of SDoH in dynamic, regional contexts for their associations with hematologic-malignancy inequities. To assess the summative influence of varied SDoH-factors on hematologic malignancy outcomes and discern which SDoH-factors contributed the largest associations towards disparities 796,005 adults with hematologic malignancies between 1975-2017 were identified for this retrospective cohort study.
