Objective: The aim of this consensus statement on viscosupplementation is to serve as a reference document based on relevant literature and clinical experience in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis using an intra-articular injection of hyaluronic acid, covering key aspects such as clinical indications, effectiveness, and tolerability.
Methods: A multidisciplinary panel including two sports medicine physicians, six orthopedists, four physiatrists, and two rheumatologists were selected based on their clinical and academic experience of viscosupplementation. Sixteen statements were prepared and discussed, after which a vote was held. Each member of the panel gave a score between 0 and 10 on a Likert scale, specifying their level of agreement with the statement.
Results: The panel reached a consensus on several issues. Specifically, the panel agreed that the best indication is for mild to moderate knee arthrosis; prior or concomitant use of intraarticular triamcinolone hexacetonide may optimize the effect of hyaluronic acid; viscosupplementation should not be performed as an isolated procedure but in conjunction with other rehabilitative and pharmacological measures; viscosupplementation has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and chondroprotective effects; and viscosupplementation is cost-effective.
Conclusion: This consensus statement provides clear information and guidance for both individuals and payers.

Background: To minimise the referral gap to pain psychology, the purpose of this study was to describe clinician-perceived patient suitability for pain psychology referral, develop a referral plan and outline essential elements of a referral conversation via a modified Delphi approach with multidisciplinary paediatric pain providers.
Methods: We employed a three-round modified Delphi approach consulting multidisciplinary paediatric pain providers (n=18) including physicians, psychologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and nurse practitioners (PT, OT, NP). Based on the responses to an online survey (Round 1), initial statements regarding the pain psychology referral process were developed.

Introduction: Opioid-induced constipation (OIC) affects up to 90% of patients with cancer receiving long-term opioid-related analgesic therapy, resulting in various potential complications, compromised pain management and decreased quality of life. Laxatives stimulate or facilitate bowel evacuation. Traditional laxatives, such as polyethylene glycol and lactulose, are widely used because of their low cost, easy accessibility and tolerability.

Uterine RMS is exceedingly rare. The treatment strategy has evolved from aggressive local control with upfront surgery followed by radiation to a more conservative approach with chemotherapy followed by additional treatment pending response, which is outlined in a recent consensus statement from the International Soft-Tissue Sarcoma Consortium. We present a case of a 2-year-old with intermediate risk uterine RMS.

IgG-4 related disease (IgG4-RD) is an under recognised multisystem inflammatory disorder that has several typical manifestations. Cardiac manifestations of IgG4-RD are well documented however do not feature in the definition or diagnosis of IgG4-RD according to a recent consensus statement. The most well recognised cardiac manifestation of IgG4-RD, pericardial disease, is outlined in this case report as the initial presenting pathology.

Chronic venous disease has a major impact on the quality of life of millions of patients. Large randomized controlled trials have established ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy (UGFS) as a safe and effective treatment option for both saphenous vein insufficiency and tributary disease. Ultrasound guidance is a critical component of sclerotherapy of non-visible veins.
