The intensity and specialization of beef cattle production make off-site fattening, and introduce new breeds need transportation to achieve the goals. The present study was aimed to investigate effects of land transport stress on hormones levels, microbial fermentation, microbial composition, immunity and correlation among them among Simmental Crossbred Cattle (SC), Native Yellow Cattle (NY), and Cattle Yak (CY). High-throughput sequencing was used to investigate the rumen microbial diversity. After transport stress cortisol (COR), adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-1β were increased ( < 0.05) in all groups. Rumen lipopolysaccharide (LPS) was increased ( < 0.05) in SC and CY groups. Total volatile fatty acids were increased ( < 0.05) in all groups. The ruminal microbiota about OTUs, Chao1, and Shannon in SC and CY groups were higher than before transport. in NY group was higher ( < 0.05) than other groups before transport; after transport Firmicutes and Lactobacillus were increased ( < 0.05) than other groups in CY. Lactobacillus was positively correlated with IL-6 and IL-4. Under transport stress, cattle may suffer from inflammatory response through modulating HPA axis and microbiota metabolite affects the secretion of hormone levels and immune function and breeds factor affect the performance of stress resistance.

Introduction: A hybrid approach with very high-power short-duration (vHPSD) posteriorly and ablation-index guided HPSD (50 W) anteriorly seems to be an optimal balance between efficiency and effectiveness for point-by-point pulmonary vein isolation (PVI). The aim of the current study is to compare vHPSD/HPSD ablation to cryoballoon ablation (CBA) in patients with symptomatic atrial fibrillation (AF).
Methods And Results: In this retrospective single-center study, we identified 110 consecutive patients who underwent their first PVI with either vHPSD/HPSD (n = 54) or CBA (n = 56).

Background: The benefit of treatment with tyrosine kinase inhibitors targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR-TKI) for lung adenocarcinoma (ADC), stratified by ethnicity, has not yet been fully elucidated.
Methods: We searched PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane databases for studies that investigated EGFR-TKI for lung ADC. We computed hazard ratios (HRs) or risk ratios (RRs) for binary endpoints, with 95% confidence intervals (CIs).

Introduction: This study aimed to assess the root resorption and alveolar bone changes of maxillary incisors volumetrically and 3-dimensionally in patients with Class II Division 1 malocclusion who underwent treatments involving the extraction of 4 first premolars with conventional fixed appliances (FAs) vs clear aligners (CAs).
Methods: A total of 320 maxillary incisors from 80 patients were assessed and divided into 2 groups (FAs and CAs), each possessing similar baseline characteristics. Pretreatment and posttreatment cone-beam computed tomography scans were used to analyze linear and volumetric orthodontically induced inflammatory root resorption, alveolar bone thickness (ABT), alveolar bone height (ABH), as well as anteroposterior and vertical movements of maxillary incisors.

Background: People with intellectual disabilities (IDs) require more vision care but encounter considerable challenges during eye examinations. Specialised clinics established specifically for people with IDs are generally limited. This study aims to evaluate primary family caregivers' willingness to pay (WTP) for specialised ophthalmology services designed for people with IDs.

Objective: Preventing return to alcohol is of critical importance for patients with alcohol-related cirrhosis and/or alcohol-associated hepatitis. Acamprosate is a widely used treatment for alcohol use disorder (AUD). We assessed the impact of acamprosate prescription in patients with advanced liver disease on abstinence rates and clinical outcomes.
