Background: Head-and-neck cancer (HNC) can cause oropharyngeal dysphagia (OD). Early identification of OD in newly diagnosed HNC patients is important to better prepare patients for their cancer treatment trajectory. The aim of this study is (1) to assess the prevalence of OD in HNC patients within three weeks before the start of cancer treatment and (2) to investigate which demographic and oncological characteristics may be risk factors associated with the risk of OD at baseline.

To assess the effectiveness of the 'Weet wat je eet' ('Know what you eat') school-based nutrition education programme on behavioural determinants and behaviour among students aged 12-15 years. A quasi-experimental study design was used, collecting data at baseline and after implementing the programme in both an intervention and control group (in total 611 students) across the Netherlands. Students from eighteen Dutch secondary education schools completed two consecutive questionnaires, assessing knowledge, self-efficacy, attitude, subjective norm, intention, and behaviours related to healthy, safe, and sustainable nutrition.

- Epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) is linked to atrial fibrillation (AF) and atrial fibrosis, but many AF patients show no signs of left atrial (LA) fibrosis. This study compared EAT levels in AF patients without LA fibrosis to matched controls without AF.
- AF patients without LA fibrosis had significantly higher total and regional volumes of EAT compared to controls, indicating that EAT may play a role in AF development even when LA fibrosis is absent.
- The study found no differences in EAT volumes between AF patients with and without LA fibrosis and no significant link between EAT volume and AF recurrence after catheter ablation.
