Background: Revision hip and knee arthroplasty volume continues to rise, and total femur replacement (TFR) remains a key salvage option in patients with extensive bone loss. Prior research has demonstrated mixed results of this procedure, and this study aimed to characterize the outcomes of nononcologic TFR in one of the largest single-center modern series.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 23 nononcologic TFR procedures performed on 22 patients between 2012 and 2021.

Objectives: To evaluate the quality and types of care individuals with mild-to-moderate knee osteoarthritis receive in the Canadian Maritime provinces, and determine associations with demographic, social, and patient-reported factors.
Methods: Individuals with knee osteoarthritis were invited to complete a healthcare quality survey based on the British Columbia Osteoarthritis (BC OA) survey. The cross-sectional descriptive observational survey assessed four healthcare quality indicators: advice to exercise, advice to lose weight, assessment of ambulatory function, and assessment of non-ambulatory function.

Background: Ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) have been shown to deliver high-quality care to patients at major cost savings to the health care system. The objective of this investigation was to examine trends in the Medicare facility and surgeon professional fee payments for hip and knee arthroplasty.
Methods: Publicly available Medicare data were analyzed to determine professional and facility fee payments for unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA), total knee arthroplasty (TKA), and total hip arthroplasty (THA) to ASCs and hospitals between 2018 and 2024.
