Published: August 2019

The paper presents data on the ecological and phytocoenotic conditions of habitats of the (L.) R. Br. orchid in the Northeast of European Russia (Komi Republic, Russia). The data include characteristics of the populations of this species on the northern border of its range (size and ontogenetic structure of the populations, density of specimens, phenology), as well as information demonstrating the genetic variability of the species by ISSR-markers that was not included in the main publication. The data presented here supplement our earlier published results O.E.Valuyskikh et al., 2019 and are useful for more detailed analysis of population biology and genetic variability of this rare orchid species. is the species of terrestrial orchids widespread in Europe and Asia and characterized by the widest ecological-cenotic amplitude and occurrence in different types of ecotopes. The size of populations in different parts of its range is usually small, 25-100 ind. but sometimes increases to 200-1000 ind. Hansen et al., 1999 to Travnichek et al., 2012. In the many regions of the Russian Federation, the are subject to protection due to the small number of habitats, long stages of ontogenesis, low population sizes and anthropogenic impact. The complex of s.l. included in the Red Data Book of the Komi Republic Taskaev, 2009.

Here, we report a synthesis of fluoroquinolones carrying a monoterpene moiety at the C7 position of aromatic structure. The minimal inhibitory concentrations of fluoroquinolone fused with trans-3-hydroxy-cis-myrtanylamine 18 against Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA isolates) were two- to eightfold lower compared to moxifloxacin, although fourfold higher against MRSA isolates. The fluoroquinolone fused with (-)-nopylamine 16 was four- to eightfold less active on MSSA compared to moxifloxacin, while had similar activity on MRSA.

Article Synopsis
  • Migratory animals depend on various sites during their annual cycles, and changes at these locations can significantly impact their populations, especially long-distance migrants like the Yellow-breasted Bunting.
  • Reduced adult survival due to persecution at non-breeding sites is a major factor contributing to the decline of this species, with ongoing extinction particularly noted in western regions of its range.
  • Research revealed moderate survival in eastern populations, no returning birds from the west, and identified key migration corridors and stopover sites in eastern China, highlighting the need for targeted conservation efforts and increased monitoring of survival and breeding in both populations.

Objective: To study the associations between salivary minerals concentrations and caries experience among adolescents in the conditions of one of the industrial centers of the Far North.

Material And Methods: In total, 146 adolescents aged 15-17 years took part in a cross-sectional study in Syktyvkar, Komi Republic. Caries experience was assessed as DMFT index and its components.

The study is dedicated to the synthesis, rheological properties, hemocompatibility, and further modification of water-soluble derivatives of sodium alginate containing fragments of ethylenediamine (Alg-EDA). Alg-EDA with an equal ratio of amide/amine groups and varying degrees of substitution were synthesized by the carbodiimide method. The influence of the molecular weight of Alg-EDA on the attachment of bioactive molecules such as hydroxybenzoic and ferulic acids was determined.
