Background And Aim: infection has been identified as a major cause of peptic ulcer diseases, including gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, chronic and gastric carcinoma, and even gastric lymphoma. studies using Western blotting analysis, hemagglutination test, adherence inhibition assays, and immunocytochemical staining revealed that the 49.6-kDa subunit pili protein of was considered an immunogenic protein. This study aimed to develop a serological diagnostic test using 49.6 kDa for detecting antibodies against proteins in an early phase of the infection.
Materials And Methods: An in-house immunochromatographic test (ICT) kit was developed and used to test a panel of sera sample obtained from a randomly selected symptomatic patient, in which 40 sera were positive and 40 sera were negative.
Results: The results showed that ICT with 49.6 kDa as an antigen was highly sensitive and specific for detecting anti- immunoglobulin G antibodies in human serum, with a high negative predictive value.
Conclusion: The developed test could be used to exclude infection in symptomatic patients.

β-glucosidase hydrolyses the glycosidic bonds in cellobiose and cello-oligosaccharides, a critical step in the saccharification for biofuel production. Hence, the aim of this study was to gain insights into the biochemical and structural properties of a β-glucosidase from , an entomopathogenic fungus. The β-glucosidase was purified to homogeneity using salt precipitation, ultrafiltration, and chromatographic techniques, attaining a specific activity of 496 U/mg.

Discharge of textile dye effluents into water bodies is creating stress to aquatic life and contaminating water resources. In this study, a new biopolymer adsorbent silk fibroin (SF) was prepared from Bombyx mori silk fibroin (SF) and used for removal of Solochrome Black-T (SB-T) from water. This innovative adsorbent exhibits an exceptional adsorption capacity of 20.

Carlsberg subtilisin from Bacillus licheniformis PB1 was investigated as a potential feed supplement, through immobilizing on bentonite for improving the growth rate of broilers. Initially, the pre-optimized and partially-purified protease was extracted and characterized using SDS-PAGE with MW 27.0 KDa.
