Trophic factors, such as neurotrophins, are fundamental for cellular processes including differentiation, growth, survival, and regeneration. These molecules exhibit significant morphological and phylogenetic conservation throughout the animal kingdom, indicating conserved functions. In fish, the oldest and most diverse group of vertebrates, neurotrophins, and their receptors play pivotal roles not only within the central nervous system but also in various peripheral tissues.

Anti-tumor immunotherapy was rediscovered and rejuvenated in the last two decades with the discovery of CTLA-4, PD-1 and PD-L1 and the roles in inhibiting immune function and tumor evasion of anti-tumor immune response. Following the approval of the first checkpoint inhibitor ipilimumab against CTLA-4 in melanoma in 2011, there has been a rapid development of tumor immunotherapy. Furthermore, additional positive and negative molecules among the T-cell regulatory systems have been identified that that function to fine tune the stimulatory or inhibitory immune cells and modulate their functions (checkpoint modulators).

Background: Drug-induced hypofibrinogenemia has received increasing scrutiny; however, the specific drugs involved remain poorly characterized. Hypofibrinogenemia can have significant clinical implications, including increased bleeding risks.
Aim: This study aimed to utilize the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) to identify and analyze drugs frequently implicated in drug-induced hypofibrinogenemia.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a severe central nervous system injury without effective therapies. PANoptosis is involved in the development of many diseases, including brain and spinal cord injuries. However, the biological functions and molecular mechanisms of PANoptosis-related genes in spinal cord injury remain unclear.

Introduction: Non-segmental vitiligo (NSV) is an autoimmune condition characterized by melanocyte loss. While skin-specific mechanisms are well-studied, systemic immune dysregulation contributing to NSV pathogenesis remains unclear.
Objective: This study employs a multi-omic single-cell approach to investigate circulating immune cells in NSV, integrating transcriptional and chromatin accessibility data.
