These data are related to the research "The accumulation and distribution of arsenic species and association with arsenic toxicity in rats after 30 days of oral realgar administration" (Yi et al., 2019) [1]. These data include the rat body weights, haematology, electrolytes, coagulation and biochemical parameters, and relative organ weights after 30 days of oral administration of realgar, which was consistent with the current OECD guideline "Repeated Dose 28-Day oral Toxicity Study in Rodents". The data also include the content of arsenite (As(III)), arsenate (As(V)), dimethylarsinic acid (DMA), monomethylarsonic acid (MMAV), arsenic betaine (AsB) and arsenic chrome (AsC) in rat blood, liver, kidneys, brain and urine after single-dose and 30-day oral administration of realgar. The provided data are intended to demonstrate whether realgar has short-term toxicity and the role of accumulated arsenic species in realgar toxicity.

The aim of this comparative study was to examine the possible benefits of a dedicated Orthopaedic Trauma Room (DOTR) and in the care of patients with proximal femur fractures. A retrospective study of all orthopaedic cases with a hip fracture from 2020 to 2022 at CHC Montlegia has been undertaken, the group is compared to patients with the same impairment from 2018-2020 admitted to Saint Joseph/Esperance CHC hospitals (before the merge and the existence of a DOTR). The delay between the arrival at the emergency department and transfer to the operating room, as well as the mortality are evaluated.

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has triggered extensive research, mainly focused on identifying effective therapeutic agents, specifically those targeting highly pathogenic SARS-CoV-2 variants. This study aimed to investigate the antiviral efficacy and anti-inflammatory activity of herbal extracts derived from and , using a Golden Syrian hamster model infected with Delta, a representative variant associated with severe COVID-19. Hamsters were intranasally inoculated with the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant and orally administered either vehicle control, , or extract at a dosage of 1000 mg/kg/day.

Objectives: This experiment was carried out to investigate the protective effects of curcumin (CUR) on testicular damage induced by the valproic acid (VPA) administration.
Materials And Methods: Male Wistar-Albino rats (n=28, 250-300 g) were randomly divided into four groups: Control (1 ml saline, oral), VPA (500 mg/kg, IP), CUR (200 mg/kg, oral), or VPA+CUR (500 mg/kg, VPA, IP plus 200 mg/kg CUR, oral). The treatments were applied for 14 days.
