Mid-infrared photoacoustic microscopy can capture biochemical information without staining. However, the long mid-infrared optical wavelengths make the spatial resolution of photoacoustic microscopy significantly poorer than that of conventional confocal fluorescence microscopy. Here, we demonstrate an explainable deep learning-based unsupervised inter-domain transformation of low-resolution unlabeled mid-infrared photoacoustic microscopy images into confocal-like virtually fluorescence-stained high-resolution images.

In this national survey of EM residency programs, we explored the current national distribution of virtual versus in-person didactic time and the circumstances and motivators for use of each.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey with branched logic was designed via Qualtrics.

Objective: Residents interact, collaborate with, and learn from nurses, advanced practice providers, and physicians in multiple specialties. Both positive and negative experiences in the clinical workspace can affect residents' well-being, their ability to learn, and their development into effective, independent physicians. The aim of this study is to evaluate the general surgery resident experience in the nonsurgical clinical learning environment to identify how interactions outside of the operating room affect resident well-being and their ability to learn.

Aim: Recent research highlights the role of pericoronary adipose tissue (PCAT) in coronary artery disease (CAD) development. PCAT has been recognized as a metabolically active tissue involved in local inflammation and oxidative stress, potentially impacting CAD initiation and progression. Radiomics texture analysis shows promising results to better understand the link between PCAT quality and CAD risk.

Importance: The effect of exercise interventions on increasing and sustaining moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) among older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), who are at heightened risk of dementia, remains unclear.
Objective: To examine whether participation in a 6-month, supervised, home-based tai ji quan intervention increases MVPA among US community-dwelling older adults at 1 year.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This study was a secondary analysis of a parallel-group, outcome assessor-blinded, randomized clinical trial conducted virtually at participants' homes.
