Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) are the results of the combined effects of diabetes-related vascular disease and neuropathy. DFUs are responsible for more hospitalizations than any other complication of diabetes. It can impair patients' quality of life and affect social participation and livelihood. It is one of the big challenges for podiatric surgeons to salvage the foot upto optimum. A case of DFU of a patient of 70 years of age with repeated history of Ray's Amputation was managed by an integrated approach (Ayurveda and Allopathy medications and procedures).

Importance: Digital health in biomedical research and its expanding list of potential clinical applications are rapidly evolving. A combination of new digital health technologies (DHTs), novel uses of existing DHTs through artificial intelligence- and machine learning-based algorithms, and improved integration and analysis of data from multiple sources has enabled broader use and delivery of these tools for research and health care purposes. The aim of this study was to assess the growth and overall trajectory of DHT funding through a National Institutes of Health (NIH)-wide grant portfolio analysis.

Parenthood inevitably includes caring for a child suffering from mild-moderate illness requiring access to health care. Most childhood illnesses can be managed in the community, and parents are encouraged to attend the most suitable primary care service for their needs. Yet the number of children visiting emergency departments with non-urgent illness continues to rise annually, with child attendance representing over 25% of the total workload.

The major limiting factor of photosynthesis in C3 plants is the enzyme, rubisco which inadequately distinguishes between carbon dioxide and oxygen. To overcome catalytic deficiencies of Rubisco, cyanobacteria utilize advanced protein microcompartments, called the carboxysomes which envelopes the enzymes, Rubisco and Carbonic Anhydrase (CA). These microcompartments facilitate the diffusion of bicarbonate ions which are converted to CO by CA, following in an increase in carbon flux near Rubisco boosting CO fixation process.

Sepsis is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Among the various types of end-organ damage associated with sepsis, hepatic injury is linked to significantly higher mortality rates compared to dysfunction in other organ systems. This study aimed to investigate potential biomarkers of hepatic injury in sepsis patients through a multi-center, case-control approach.
