Background: Many surgeons have begun learning about colorectal surgery using laparoscopy rather than laparotomy. The domains of four-step technique training program (DOF) for laparoscopic colorectal surgery have been designed and implemented by our institute since 2011, and they are expected to provide a safe and effective program for trainees with limited experience in laparoscopic colorectal surgery.
Method: The DOF were established with standard surgical procedures, a four-step technique, and learning passports using point credits after the procedure was completed.

Aims And Method: This study aimed to explore the experiences and support requirements of psychiatrists undergoing investigations within their mental health organisation. An anonymous online survey was distributed to all non-training psychiatrists registered as members of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Results: Of the 815 psychiatrists who responded to the survey, 287 (35%) had been investigated.

Inspiratory muscle training (IMT) aims to preserve or improve respiratory muscle strength and reduce respiratory morbidity. This study aimed to determine the safety and efficacy of IMT in children with NMD.

Aims: Ethnic disparities have been observed in treatment at first specialist appointments across various specialties within New Zealand. This study aimed to examine documentation and treatment decisions for diabetic retinopathy by ethnicity.
Methods: Retrospective audit of first specialist diabetic retinopathy clinic appointments for 388 patients at the Department of Ophthalmology, Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland.
